Curtis Henderson is an Actor, Producer, Director, Editor, Screenplay writer, Songwriter, and digital media entrepreneur with an immense passion for storytelling. His Father left when he was very young, moving to Baltimore Maryland. leaving Curtis to be raised by his Mother and Step Father Ada Henderson and his Grandparents in Natchitoches, Louisiana. His Grand-dad was a mechanic, while Ada was a stay at home Mom. Ada had high hopes for her Son, wanting him to be a Doctor or a Lawyer, and she instilled in him a serious work ethics. In this time of segregation, she made him recognize his disadvantaged state and taught him that he needed to work ten times harder than everyone else, and dress ten times better, just to survive. consequently, young Curtis was a bookworm of a child, who loved music, movies, and telling jokes.

Curtis learned many skills, Acting, Songwriting, Editing, Producing, he became a master of the arts.

The seventh of eight siblings, Josie decided to move to California not knowing anyone, ultimately spending many years in California, were she was a TV Host for her Skin Care Clinics. If anyone had told Bob Wilson that his third career, at age 63, would be as an actor, he would have laughed out loud and said “yeah, sure…let’s have a beer.” Born December 4, 1947 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to a career military dad, Claude Wilson and his wife Ernestine (Williams), he is the oldest of five children. Growing up at various U.S Army military facilities around the world, Bob enjoyed a vagabond life, attending schools in West Germany, Georgia, Taiwan, Kentucky, South Korea and finally graduating from high school in Leesville, Louisiana in 1965. In addition to living in three foreign countries, he’s worked in or visited eighteen others, as well as thirty-five states.

After his dad retired as a Major, Bob followed his family to Houston, Texas where he attended the University of Houston. His dream was to be General Wilson someday, so he excelled as a corp cadet in the Army ROTC, rising to the rank of Cadet Lieutenant Colonel. As a member and co-captain of the U OF H varsity rifle team, he and his team mates won many state and regional championships, and earned him the nickname of “Bullet Bob.” During his sophomore year, he met the love of his life and soul mate Dianne Hall. They dated for three years and married on August 15, 1969. After graduation in May 1970, from the University of Houston, with a BS in Psychology, Bob was commissioned a Field Artillery Second Lieutenant in the US Regular Army. After paratrooper training, he joined the 82nd Airborne Division.

The next four and a half years were spent serving in various duty stations throughout the US and West Germany. Along the way, he earned an MS in Education from the University of Southern California. He also realized that because of his intensely independent spirit, his destiny would not be in the military. Bob resigned his commission in 1976 with the rank of Captain.

After a career in human resources management and sales, he got the acting bug in 2009 and decided to give it a serious shot. He took on-camera and voice-over acting training from highly successful actors/coaches in Houston, and signed on with a premier talent agency. While at a Houston-area get together of film industry professionals, Bob met actor/director Bo Brinkman and producer Teddy Hallaron. They offered him, and he happily accepted the role of a cowboy poker player in their feature film “The Last Mark” to be released in 2013.

Bob also completed his role of the private investigator in a 2013 independent feature film “The Grandmother Baby Scam.” Based on a true story, it was written, directed and produced by Curtis Henderson, and shot in Houston. Several television commercial and industrial roles followed for HEB, the University of Houston Law Center, Life Choice, Gill-man Auto Group and Workplace Answers. He and Dianne have had several “shoots” at their house, including an internal staff training video for Shaw Flooring Company; a series of “How-To” videos for Spectracide lawn care products to be used nationwide at several big-box stores; and scenes for the feature film “Helen Alone” to be released in 2013.

Bob’s latest role is that of a judge presiding over a murder trial in a feature film to be shot in Houston in 2013.
